An antiseptic gauze impregnated with the soft paraffin that contains 0,5% chlorhexidine acetate. Chlorhexidine is a proven antiseptic effective against a wide range of gram positive and negative bacteria including MRSA. There are no familiar cases of crossed resistance, and hypersensitivity is extremely rare. It is recommended for already infected wounds or as an infection prevention. For the already infected wounds, it can be combined with systemic antibiotics. BACTIGRAS is gentle, somewhat adhesive and allows a simple wound drainage, it is cut and does not have to be kept in the refrigerator.

Indications: smaller burns and scalds, lacerations, abrasions and other wounds with a disturbed skin integrity, donors and recipients of dermal grafts, leg ulcers.
